Based in Hong Kong, Blaine is a consultant specializing in the space and satcom industry, with a focus on China. Blaine began his coverage of the satellite communications (satcom) space in 2010, and has been living in China since 2011. As Founder of OGC, Blaine coordinates the efforts of our network of China space industry experts, while also managing projects for a variety of clients related to China space industry research and intelligence.
Blaine has earned an MBA degree from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST) with coursework focused on China business, economics, and politics, and a BSc from Illinois State University in International Business. A US national, Blaine speaks English and Mandarin.
